• Erik Satie (1866-1925), French composer, pianist, writer, and foundational figure in 20th Century music
• Dmitri Kabalevsky (1904-1987), prominent Soviet composer and music educator

We’ll feature the winning composer in an all-day retrospective on Sunday, 9 September.
